A slurry seal is similar to a fog seal except the slurry seal has aggregates as part of the mixture. Antiskid action:

Resistance to wear:
The cationic emulsified asphalt has good adhesion to both acid and alkaline minerals, so the slurry mixture can choose the high quality ore material which is hard and abrasive, so it can get good wear resistance and extend the service life of the pavement.
waterproofing:
The aggregate size of the slurry mixture is fine, and it has certain gradation. After the pavement is paved and formed, the emulsified asphalt slurry mixture. It can firmly adhere to the road surface, forming a layer of dense surface, can prevent rain and snow water infiltration into the base, maintain the stability of the base and soil foundation
Filling action:
Emulsified asphalt slurry mixture contains more water, after mixing into a thin slurry state, has good fluidity. This slurry has filling and leveling effect, on the road surface to stop small cracks and loose road surface loss caused by uneven road surface, can be closed cracks and thin slurry filling shallow pit to improve the smoothness of the road surface.
