The asphalt spreading quota is specified in the construction technical specifications.
The flow rate Q (L/㎡) of the asphalt pump changes with its speed. Its relationship with the vehicle speed V, spreading width b, and spreading amount q is: Q=bvq. Usually, the spreading width and spreading amount are given in advance. Therefore, the vehicle speed and the asphalt pump flow are two variables, and the two increase or decrease proportionally. For the asphalt spreader with a special engine driving the asphalt pump, the asphalt pump speed and vehicle speed can be adjusted by their respective engines, so the corresponding increase and decrease relationship between the two can be better coordinated. For asphalt spreaders that use the car's own engine to drive the asphalt pump, it is difficult to adjust the corresponding increase and decrease relationship between the vehicle speed and the asphalt pump speed because the gear positions of the car's gearbox and power take-off are limited, and the speed of the asphalt pump changes with the speed of the same engine. Usually, the flow value of the asphalt pump at a certain speed is determined first, and then the corresponding vehicle speed is adjusted, and the five-wheel instrument and the driver's skilled operation are used to strive for stable driving.
