In the construction of new roads, the application options of emulsified asphalt include the construction of permeable layer, bonding layer and waterproof layer. The waterproof layer is divided into two types: slurry sealing layer and gravel sealing layer. Before construction, the road surface needs to be cleared of debris, floating sinks, etc. The permeable layer is sprayed with emulsified asphalt using an asphalt spreading truck. The gravel sealing layer is constructed using a synchronous gravel sealing truck. The slurry sealing layer is constructed using a slurry sealing machine.
In preventive maintenance construction, the application options of emulsified asphalt include gravel seal, slurry seal, modified slurry seal and micro-surfacing and other construction methods. For gravel sealing, the original road surface needs to be cleared and cleaned, and then the through-layer adhesive layer is constructed. A synchronous gravel sealing machine is used behind the ear to construct the emulsified asphalt gravel sealing layer or an asynchronous gravel sealing layer is used. Emulsified asphalt can be used as the sticky layer oil, and the spraying method can be sprayed by a sprayer or manually applied. Slurry sealing, modified slurry sealing and micro-surfacing are constructed using a slurry sealing machine.
In building waterproofing construction, emulsified asphalt is mainly used as cold base oil. The method of use is relatively simple. After cleaning the construction surface, brushing or spraying will do.
