In the asphalt mixing process, heating is one of the indispensable links, so the asphalt mixing plant must be equipped with a heating system. This system can malfunction under the influence of various factors, which means that the heating system must be modified.
We found that when the asphalt plant was operating at low temperatures, the asphalt circulation pump and spray pump could not operate, causing the asphalt in the asphalt scale to solidify, eventually causing the asphalt mixing plants to be unable to produce normally. After inspection, it was proved that the asphalt in the pipeline solidified because the temperature of the asphalt transportation pipeline did not meet the requirements.
The specific reasons are that there are four possibilities. One is that the high-level oil tank of the heat transfer oil is too low, resulting in poor circulation of the heat transfer oil; the other is that the inner tube of the double-layer tube is eccentric; the other is that the heat transfer oil pipeline is too long; or It is because the thermal oil pipelines have not taken effective insulation measures, etc., which ultimately affects the heating effect.
Based on the above analysis and conclusion, the thermal oil heating system of the asphalt mixing plant needs to be modified. Specific measures include raising the position of the oil replenishment tank; installing an exhaust valve; trimming the delivery pipe; and installing a booster pump and insulation layer. After improvements, the temperature of the asphalt mixing plants reached the required level and all components operated normally.
