The problem of insufficient combustion during use of asphalt mixing plants needs to be solved
When the ignition of the asphalt mixing machinery is insufficient, the consumption of gasoline and diesel increases, resulting in an increase in product costs; the residual fuel oil often harms the finished materials, resulting in a billing of the finished materials; when the ignition is insufficient, The exhaust gas contains welding smoke. When the welding smoke encounters the dust collector bag in the dust removal equipment, it will stick to the outer surface of the dust bag, causing damage to the dust bag, causing the induced draft fan to be blocked and ignition to be insufficient, which may eventually lead to hemiplegia. The equipment cannot be manufactured.
If it can be maintained effectively, it can save a lot of money and extend the service life of the ignition system. So, what is the reason for insufficient ignition? How to solve it?
Fuel quality
Commonly used fuel oils and fuels for asphalt concrete mixing machinery are blended by the provided oil dealers using standard fuel oil plus combustion-supporting and other preservatives. The ingredients are very complex. Based on on-site use experience, fuel oil can ensure that the burner operates normally and is fully ignited by meeting the following parameters: calorific value is not less than 9600kcal/kg; kinematic viscosity at 50°C is not more than 180 cst; mechanical residue content is not more than 0.3%; moisture content does not exceed 3%.
Among the above four parameters, the calorific value parameter is a necessary condition to ensure that the burner can provide the rated calorific value. The kinematic viscosity, mechanical residue and moisture content parameters directly affect the ignition uniformity; kinematic viscosity, mechanical If the composition and moisture content of the equipment residue exceed the standard, the atomization effect of the fuel oil at the burner nozzle will be poor, the welding fumes cannot be fully mixed with the gas, and the unbiased ignition cannot be guaranteed.
To ensure unbiased ignition, the above important parameters must be met when selecting fuel oil.
Burner
The impact of atomization effect on ignition stability
Light fuel oil is sprayed out as mist through the atomizing nozzle of the oil gun under the pressure of the gasoline pump or the interaction between the gasoline pump pressure and the high-pressure gas. The size of the welding fume particles depends on the atomization effect. The ignition effect is poor, the mist particles are large, and the contact area for mixing with the gas is small, so the ignition uniformity is poor.
In addition to the kinematic viscosity of light fuel oil mentioned earlier, there are also three factors that affect the atomization effect of light fuel oil that come from the burner itself: dirt is stuck in the gun nozzle or is seriously damaged; the fuel pump Serious damage or failure of the transformer equipment causes the steam pressure to be lower than the atomization pressure; the pressure of the high-pressure gas used for atomization is lower than the atomization pressure.
The corresponding solutions are: wash the nozzle to remove dirt or replace the nozzle; replace the fuel pump or clear the fault of the transformer; adjust the air compression pressure to the standard value.
Dry drum
The matching of the burner flame shape and the material curtain structure in the dry drum has a great influence on the ignition uniformity. The ignition flame of the burner requires a certain space. If there are other objects occupying this space, it will inevitably affect the normal flame generation. As the ignition zone of the dry drum, it provides a space for the normal ignition to generate flames. If there is a curtain in this area, the continuously falling materials will block the flame and destroy the ignition uniformity.
There are two ways to solve this problem: one is to change the shape of the flame by replacing the atomization angle of the burner nozzle or adjusting the secondary air intake valve that controls the flame shape, so that the flame changes from long and thin to short and thick; the other is to change the material curtain in the ignition zone of the dry drum by changing the material lifting blade structure to adjust the material curtain in this area from dense to sparse or no material curtain to provide sufficient space for the ignition flame.
Induced draft fan dust removal equipment
The matching of the induced draft fan dust removal equipment and the burner also has a great influence on the ignition uniformity. The induced draft fan dust removal equipment of the asphalt concrete mixing station is designed to immediately absorb the exhaust gas generated by the burner after ignition, and provide a certain space for subsequent ignition. If the pipeline and dust removal equipment of the induced draft fan dust removal equipment are blocked or the pipeline is ventilated, the exhaust gas from the burner will be blocked or insufficient, and the exhaust gas will continue to accumulate in the ignition area of ??the dry drum, occupying the ignition space and causing insufficient ignition.
The way to solve this problem is: unblock the blocked induced draft fan pipeline or dust removal equipment to ensure the smooth flow of the induced draft fan. If the pipeline is ventilated, the ventilated area must be plugged.
