Temperature control is very important in the asphalt preparation process. If the asphalt temperature is too low, the asphalt viscosity will be high and the ductility will be insufficient, making emulsification difficult. If the asphalt temperature is too high, on the one hand, it will cause asphalt aging, and on the other hand, the outlet temperature of the emulsified asphalt will be too high, affecting the stability of the emulsifier and the quality of the emulsified asphalt.
After the emulsified asphalt equipment has been used for a long time, the gap of the emulsified asphalt colloid mill will become larger. If this phenomenon occurs, just adjust the gap manually. It may also be that there is a problem with the asphalt. Generally, the asphalt model should not be changed casually during normal use. Different asphalts use different emulsifier dosages, which is also related to the temperature. Generally speaking, the lower the asphalt model, the higher the temperature. Another possibility is the problem of the emulsifier. Problems with the quality of the emulsifier will also cause the emulsified asphalt equipment to malfunction. Depending on the water quality, the pH value may also need to be adjusted; either the emulsifier is less or the ingredients are not up to standard.
