What should be paid attention to in temperature control during asphalt pavement construction?
1. The paving temperature of asphalt pavement is generally 135~175℃. Before paving the pavement asphalt, it is necessary to remove the debris on the pavement base to ensure that the pavement base is dry and clean. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure the rationality of the density and thickness of the base pavement, which lays an important premise for asphalt paving.
2. The temperature of the initial pressure link is generally 110~140℃. After the initial pressure, relevant technical personnel should check the flatness and road arch of the pavement, and correct any problems immediately. If there is a shift phenomenon during the pavement rolling process, you can wait until the temperature drops before rolling. If transverse cracks appear, check the cause and take corrective measures in time.
3. The temperature of the re-pressing link is generally 120~130℃. The number of rollings should be more than 6 times. Only in this way can the stability and firmness of the pavement be guaranteed.
4. The temperature at the end of the final pressure should be greater than 90℃. Final pressure is the last step to eliminate wheel marks, defects and ensure that the surface layer has a good flatness. Since the final compaction needs to eliminate the unevenness left over from the surface layer during the re-compacting process and ensure the flatness of the road surface, the asphalt mixture also needs to end the compaction at a relatively high but not too high compaction temperature.
